Hi Jeannie, this is Matt XXXXXX. You have been helping me with information on a new truck for my dad, and he made his purchase yesterday from your dealership. His sales person was Tish, who I met when I had my truck in for service last week. Tish and I discussed that you had assisted me in my truck purchase a few months ago, and how pleased I was with the experience. I'm not sure how much involvement you had in my dads purchase yesterday , but wanted to pass on my thoughts to anyone that helped him. My dad came to show me his new truck yesterday, and he was all smiles. He was very pleased with everything at Bankston, and with each person he had contact with. He said Tish was very helpful, and spent alot of time with him to show him the truck and make sure everything was as promised. I know you guys gave dad a really great deal on the truck, and I'm sure there was not a big commission involved, if any, for Tish. It is very meaningful to me that she still took so much time to be helpful even when there wasn't much in it for her. My family has now done business with you twice. Each time has been more than a good experience, and you guys have done all you promised, and more, without question. It is so refreshing to do business with an organization like yours. Sorry for the long email, I just believe in giving credit where it is due, and want you guys to know your efforts are appreciated. Thank you again, Matt XXXXXX I shopped for months and never found a deal as good as the one I received at Bankston Chevrolet. They had the vehicle I wanted at a price well below what other dealers quoted without the typical haggling that usually accompanies buying a new vehicle. When I was ready to make the purchase, James Lovely and his team took care of all the details, from contacting my credit union to picking me up at the airport. I was really worried that I had missed some detail and would go home disappointed, but everything was exactly as promised from the get go. This was the easiest car buying experience I ever had. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to others-Julie Harlan In the past few weeks, I've visited dozens of car dealerships in the DFW area looking for a good used Toyota-Nissan-Honda. An intimidating, painful process for a single woman. I encountered everything from sales sharks who all but held me hostage - no kidding - to young green salesmen who don't know any more about the cars they're selling than I do about rocket science. The worst was finding salesmen on the lot who had no idea of the "internet" price. So finding a great internet sales team (James Lovely, Max and Ray) at Bankston Chevrolet was a welcome relief. No pressure to buy or dealer-finance, good internet pricing on vehicles, and professional service. I linked to their dealer website from the car buying site and even found a coupon for extra $500 added to my trade in. Good Morning, Well it was sure fun driving to work this morning thanks to you !!! Shirley and I both want to say thanks. We had fun working with you on this deal. Please tell James thanks for his time and efforts. Greg and Shirley Cox
I would like to share with you the wonderful experience I had with your staff - Andrea Abernathy and Bruce Peterson. I bought a 2008 Uplander on Saturday, 3/21/09. I began communicating with Andrea last week by both email and phone. She was very professional and helpful, answering all of my questions. There was no pressure from her and all responses were friendly and timely. On Saturday when I came in to test drive the Uplander, I was first met by Bruce. He answered all of my questions and was also very professional and friendly. He also did not pressure me and was very respectful with my requests and wishes. This was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. The price was just right and I was in and out very quickly - a very smooth process. Andrea and Bruce made it very easy for me - no stress or haggling at all. They are wonderful employees of yours, and because of them, I will definitely refer friends if they are looking for a car. Please pass on to them my appreciation to them. Oh, yea - the finance guy was also great. I think his name was Manillo???? Sincerely, Sheri Wagner Dear Mr. Morrison: I have purchased many vehicles in my life of forty six years, but I have never been as delighted as I was at your dealership. And while you may receive many such letters, I would like you to know that for me to make such a statement is no less than colossal. I must be honest. I literally detest buying automobiles. It is the most arduous, loathsome task I have ever undertaken, and I have worked hard enough in my life to know a difficult task when encountering one. To begin with, there is the research of the type of vehicle that is needed, who will utilize it and to what extent. There is the interest in dependability, safety, performance, and resale value, and that is just the beginning, as we have not even gotten to color choices and convenience options. And if this is not enough looming over one’s head, there is the constant concern for the surreptitious perfidious sales tactics. While I am not a true cynic (I promise), I must state it again that I absolutely, unequivocally abhor purchasing a new or used vehicle. Nevertheless, with my son needing a vehicle so that I could quit playing taxi cab driver, I decided once again it was time to approach this unpleasant loathsome chore. But! I am absolutely stunned to declare that my opinion of dealerships and automobile purchasing has abruptly changed after the experience I received at Bankston Chevrolet in North Richland Hills. Jessica Bullard and José Torres’ customer service is what changed my opinion. I called Jessica no less than eight to ten times, during which she had my answer immediately available or was swift to retrieve it, and if she was away from her phone, she called me back with virtually no delay, never expressing any sign of contempt for my annoying persistence. José, too, was an absolute delight to work with. He was straightforward and swift in his performance and played no gimmicks with us. In fact, he was so humorous, I found myself in a good mood and even laughing! Me, in a good mood and laughing at a dealership!? It truly was a Saturday that I do not think I will soon forget. Firstly, buying my son his first car is clearly a joy, but to have an experience like we did while doing so was really unexpected and made the whole ordeal quite enjoyable. It really was a pleasant experience, and you your employees have my sincerest gratitude. Best regards, Luke M. P.S. I went to the dealership that we purchased our last new vehicle in 2005, but I guess they did not want our repeat business. Unfortunately (for them), they lost the chance of ever seeing us again, and I will recommend that others see your dealership instead, or at a minimum, speak to Ms. Bullard.
I dealt with the internet dept to get the price I wanted for a 09 Cobalt. I showed them a competing dealership's internet price and they beat that. The competing dealership was offering the deal on the coupe, but I wanted a sedan and bankston set me up with the sedan. They also agreed to send the car off to their shop to remove the pinstripe that goes over the door, and while that was done, they gave me a Malibu to drive in the meantime. The general manager over sales has checked with me many times to see if there was anything they could do better. The head of the internet sales dept, James Lovely, checked with me a few times to make sure I was getting that deal that we agreed upon over the e-mails. I recommend e-mailing Crystal Garza GarzaC@autonation.com for questions about the cars and what not, and set up your appointment with her. Like I said they did price match. That is what got me into the door and then into my new car after everything else had been worked out. I talked to probably 50+ dealerships in the DFW area over the week before I finally bought the car. Most of them would not send me real invoices or actual info on the cars I was interested in. The few that did seem to want to make a sale half of them wanted to play games with the prices to make it seem like I was getting a better deal than I actually was. Then there was bout 2-4 that were straight with me bout prices, features, ect and out of them the bankston employees did the most to get in their doors, and into a car. Hope if you do decide to check them out, that you have the same experience To Whom it May Concern: Oh My, where do I begin. In 23 yrs of visiting numerous dealerships there have NEVER been Numerous 1st with any of them, until BANKSTON CHEVROLET & VON LOMBARD (our salesman). 1st - To be able to drive onto a lot without salesmen tossing a coin to see whom gets the customer. 1st – No haggling, No pressure sales, & complete satisfaction to our needs. 1st - A salesman whom offers to buy drinks when out test driving a vehicle. 1st – A salesman whom offers to loan his personal vehicle (a Mercedes at that) to complete strangers so they might get something to eat after a long day. 1st – A salesman & dealership whom stand behind their word (getting our scratches taken care of on our new 2010 Chevy Traverse LS). 1st – A dealership & associates whom showed TRUE CHARACTER by being People of their Words. To a Native American, this speaks VOLUMES. 1st – Lastly, a dealership striving to please their customers with something as simple as a smile, like Patrick Morrison did when I expressed my thoughts of sharing His Chick-Fil-a lunch J while my family was in the waiting area. Thanks for the smile Patrick! There are many, many reasons Bankston Chevrolet has been in business for a very long time. I have just named a few. Each and every associate should take great pride in yourselves. You certainly Portray & Convey you are there for us, Your Customers
